It's hard to believe that seven years ago today our nation was attacked by terrorists. I was at my brother's house that week helping out. Katherine was two and Anna was three months old. Karen had gotten a call from a friend right after the third plane hit the Pentagon. We watched in disbelief along with everybody else when the towers fell. We watched coverage of it all day until Jeff got home from work. We decided that we needed to get out of the house for a little bit and went to the mall to walk around. I have never seen a mall so deserted.
All that to say, I'm reminded again today the need to pray for my country. To pray for the people in leadership from small town mayors to the men and women in congress to the President.
