Going to Mom and Dad's for Thanksgiving! Can't wait to be home. I'm going to miss being with Mom and Dad for the holiday season. And for my birthday, this is the first year that I haven't been with them on my birthday. But I do love living where I am! I love my job at the church. I love the pastors and the church family. I love being near all my nieces and nephews. I have much to be thankful for this year. =)

Happiness
So I might actually have a life again in the next couple of weeks. Why is that you might ask? Because I finally finished fiscal year end stuff at the church!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It only took me almost two months with lots of help from Elizabeth, Jim and Bo. I couldn't have done it without them. I was so excited last night that all I wanted to do was yell and jump around. :)

Just one more reason to like cats :)
The dread Black Plague in Europe was partially due to the belief that people thought cats were witches. Therefore, all the felines were hauled away and incinerated, which left the rats (who hosted the true culprits: plague-breeding fleas) to run around towns and villages and multiply. Ironically, cat lovers giving felines safe haven were a large part of those who survived.

So, I'm thinking about closing this blog since apparently I can't keep up with it... It's quite pathetic to have a blog but only update it every month or so.

Useless Knowledge
On my igoogle home page one of the gadgets I have is useless knowledge. Makes me smile every time I see it, because my friends claim that I have a head full of useless knowledge. And today's useless knowledge is not only useless it's a useless Olympic fact. :) Which in fact is most of the useless knowledge I have. Thought you all would like to know this random fact...
Cleveland Stadium was built for what became a failed attempt by the city to host the 1932 Olympic Games. Of the 192 countries on Earth, 3 of them—Kiribati, Marshall Islands, and Vatican City—have no National Olympic Committees.
